the world of blogging...

so i got an email from an old co-worker/friend telling about his new blog spot. to comment i was required to sign up for one also. internet blogging-type activities present no new fields, i've previously had diaries on diaryland but always as an unknown. in fact when i decided to inform people about it, i immediately regretted it and then closed the diary. i'm guessing the same will occur here.

it's immensely fun to voice your opinion without having to face people and in my case having someone know exactly who you are. but then again, the cowardice behind it is self depreciating. you'd think studying political science, attending a conservative school, espousing liberal ideas, and liking france i'd be used to having my opinions constantly disregarded and refuted. well, a girl has to attempt to save face and protect herself :)

hmm. that's enough for now. maybe i'll be back and gain some courage...maybe not.
